Order Status Portal Redesign for Dell
For my senior capstone course at the University of Michigan, I was paired with a UX team at Dell and worked with a group of students on a semester long UX design project. Dell asked us to help redesign the order status portal so that customers experience less difficulty when locating the correct order details. Through extensive research and several design iterations, we were able to offer design solutions to this problem.
While the entirety of the project was a group effort, as a natural leader I took on a large amount of the design work. My main role was to design the prototypes and lead graphic design efforts, including presentations, final reports, a symposium poster and all client communications. This project with Dell was extremely rewarding. I learned a lot about the entire UX Design process, collaboration with a diverse group, and working with a client on a real-world project.
